European Etsians

After discovering that their are many people joining Etsy from Europe, we have created a European street team to spread the world about Etsy to fellow Europeans.

I have put together 3 wonderful items from 3 European Etsians, that I think are fab.

This necklace is hand-made by Maria and available from kjoo.etsy.com, where you can find wonderful felted necklaces. I love this, the red detailing on the main front bead gives this necklace a simple yet effective finishing touch. Visit her shop where you will find more handmade felted and crochet accessories.

Karla is the Creator of this fairytale necklace, the latest addition to her shop. This necklace has an array of pretty beads and tassel detailing, its just fabulous. Visit Karla´s shop karlita.etsy.com where you will also find felt scarves with a difference, felt chokers, brooches and jewellery.

These digitally printed earrings by Yasmin Bochi are so pretty and simply bold. The illustration, diamante detail and crystal teal coloured beads that hang works so well together. Check out Yasmins shop yasminbochi.etsy.com where you will find, digitally printed necklaces and
reconstructed vintage handbags with a twist

Happy Mothers Day at Fledflare

Yes, Mothers day is soon here and we are wondering what to buy. I happened to be searching through fredflare.com and came across a section especially dedicated to us mothers (a whole 2 pages of gifts just for us ACE!). So I started to browse through and "thought ooooooh what kind of gifts would I like from all these goodies". Here are my top three favorites. I´m loving the #1 mom statue and could see it sat on my desk in my studio. If you want to cook with style these retro oven mitts & towel set are perfect. While you are cooking, this cute mushroom kitchen timer will let you know when dinner is ready.

My Love For Orla Kiely Handbags

The handbag collection I most look forward to each season is Orla Kiely and this seasons collection does not disappoint. I fell in love with her handbags about 6 years ago and have been a fan since. I love that her handbags are so individual and unique and not over fussing, just simple design that's splendidly put together. As usual she´s used her signature print in new colours that never bores. The summer and multi print dandelion bags and wallets are amazing, with great colour combination. When I saw this season collection I was like "wow shes´s done it again". There are so many amazing pieces to choose from. Here are a few of my favourites. Check out her website, listed in (my favourite things) to see the collection, you won´t be disappointed.

Mini Clutch Bags - Bird on a Polka Dot Ball

Hi everyone. Long time no speak. I have been a busy busy bee, making lots of new things for summer and will be selling them from late April in my etsy shop. I had a little time (wish I had more) and thought it would be a great time to update my blog and show you some of the clutch bags I have made using the Etsuko Furuya fabrics. I ordered just one yard of each and could have kicked myself for not ordering more. The fabric were sold out everywhere within days. The clutch bags have been a hit and I have sold them all. I will be making a larger order, when the fabrics are available. Check out my shop in late April for the handbags, clutch bags, purses, earrings and more.....

My Love for Estuko Fabrics II

Hi everyone. Here today, in Barcelona the weather is just fabulous. My husband and I took our son to school and then we went for coffee. I have been very busy today making a handbag and purses. I have four hours in the morning to get as much done as I possibly can while Adrian´s at playschool. In my last blog I talked about Estuko Furuya and wanted to show you some of the things I have made using her fabrics. The fabric with the birds on branches is another example of gorgeousness and I love this polka dot fabric, royal purple with blue dots.
